View Device

This page shows a summary of a device in the system.

It includes:

Device Information

This area shows the basic device information, as specified when the device was added. To edit any of this information, select the Edit Device link in the Orange Action Bar.

Device Status

If you currently have any monitors active for the device, this will show the status (up/down). To view or add monitors, click the Monitors tab in the Device Information screen.

Device Addresses

A list of the IP addresses assigned to the device.  If there are IP addresses assigned, you may use the links next to each address to update or remove it from the system. To add addresses, click the Add Address link in the Information Tab of the Orange Action Bar.

Child Devices

A list of any devices which are children of the device.  A new child device may be created by Adding a New Device and selecting the device you are viewing as the parent.

Latest Comment

The latest comment about the device is shown, if applicable. If there are no comments for the device, the comments box will not be shown.

Device Metadata

Any metadata stored for the device will be shown here. New new metadata fields can be added in the Setup & Admin section in the Device Info section.
