E-mail Client

When viewing an individual client, you can email the client from within Ubersmith by clicking the link located within the orange action bar in the Account Mgmt Tab.

 

The email client feature allows you to send an email to any of the contacts listed within the client. Once the mail is sent, a copy is also stored in the Mail Log for tracking purposes. The fields are as follows:

 

Sender - The sender of the email may be chosen from your personal email address, the default Reply-To address, and the default Support Manager address.

 

Recipient - All authorized contacts for the account are listed.

 

Subject, Body, & Attachments - You may specify the Subject of the email, body of the email, as well as attach up to 5 files to be sent.

 

Send myself Copy - If this option is checked, you will receive a copy of the email to your personal email address.

 

Open as a Ticket - If this option is checked, a support ticket will be opened and associated with the client.

 

To send the email, click the Send button at the bottom of the popup window. If you wish to Send another email to the client, click Send & New to bring you to a new email form.
