Add/Edit Credit Card

You can Add/Edit the client's credit card by clicking on the Add/Edit Credit Card link in the Billing/Invoicing Tab when the tab is active, located within the orange action bar.

Adding and editing the credit card for a client contains the following fields:

Credit Card Number - The 15 or 16 digit credit card number is input in this field. Dashes and Spaces are not accepted as part of the credit card number.

Expiration Date - The expiration date is to be entered without any dashes or slashes, with a 2 digit year abbreviation. example: 0408

CVV2 Code - The CVV2 code is 3 digits printed on Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards in the signature panel on the back of the card. It is the last 3 digits AFTER the credit card number. Sometimes only the last 4 digits of your credit card number will be printed before the CVV2 code instead of the entire credit card number. For American Express The CVV2 code is 4 digits printed above and to the right of the raised credit card number on the front of the card.

Billing Information - The basic credit card billing information is then collected. In order to best utilize the verification features of your gateway, make sure to request the information exactly as the issuing bank has on file.

Currently, clients may only have one credit card in the system at a time.
