Kurt Daniel


Kurt joined Ubersmith in 2014 and leads the overall company. Previously, he was a member of the senior leadership team at MongoDB (a leading NoSQL database), the COO at Worklight (a leading mobile company acquired by IBM), a Senior Vice President at Parallels (a leading virtualization company) and a Lead Product Manager at Microsoft. He holds degrees from UVA and Harvard University.

Dominique Archambault

Chief Technology Officer

Dom joined Ubersmith to lead engineering, product vision, and strategy. Before this, he led a number of agile engineering teams at iWeb. From his earliest programming adventures attempting to write BBS software and door games to his more recent hosting- and cloud-related development projects, Dom thrives when modelizing problems and figuring out data flow in client/server land.  

Boo Van Alstyne

VP, Products and Services

An Ubersmith employee since its inception, Boo was the programmer responsible for the first version of what would become Ubersmith's billing engine. All told, he has 16 years of experience in technical support. Boo prides himself on being able to provide useful answers to all manner of questions in the shortest amount of time, leaving his clients glad they're using Ubersmith.

Daniel Convissor

Director of Engineering

Daniel joined Ubersmith as an Engineering Lead in 2013 and has more than twenty years of experience. He has been making websites since 1995 and programming in PHP since 1999. Daniel's focus on quality, code safety and unit testing have been welcome contributions to the PEAR Project, PHP Project and WordPress community. Programming makes him happy, and we're glad to make him so.

Carol Huang

Director of Marketing and Community

Carol joined Ubersmith in 2014 to lead marketing. She oversees product marketing, corporate marketing, community marketing, and lead generation. Previously, she managed the technical community at MongoDB. Carol holds a degree in psychology from Pomona College and is excited to help businesses leverage Ubersmith's technology. 

Rob Kuczynski

Director of Support

Rob is the newest member of the Ubersmith team. His professional experience is vast, covering everything from the world of classic rock radio to the sport of polo. Most recently, Rob managed client relations at MeetMax, providing conference software as a service to the world's leading financial institutions. As the new Director of Support, Rob looks forward to helping customers maximize Ubersmith's capabilities. 

JP Nacier

Director of Engineering

JP joined Ubersmith as a Sr. Engineer in 2012 with more than 15 years of web application development experience. Educated with a BS in Economics and Computer Science from Boston University, he rose to positions of engineering leadership with successful venture-backed internet companies. A startup junkie at heart, JP loves the challenge of bringing a new product to life. 

Brian Parkhill

Director of Sales

Brian has been the sales and customer service manager at Ubersmith for five years. He began his IT career while working as general manager for an established luxury retail brand undergoing rapid growth. Brian directed efforts to develop custom software to manage CRM, billing and inventory processes and in support of a fully automated retail website.

Michael Styne

Director of DevOps

Earning his stripes on a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A at the tender age of 5, computing has been in Mike's blood from the very start. Proudly state educated with a BS in Computer Science, "mstyne" joined Team Ubersmith in 2003. Exploring new technology and simplifying complex tasks are what keep him coming back for more everyday.
